SEAFORD PUBLIC LIBRARY’S
MUSEUM PASS PROGRAM

We are pleased to offer the Seaford community free passes to the Long Island Children’s Museum, Old Westbury Gardens and the Intrepid, Sea, Air and Space Museum. These free passes are available to Seaford Public Library cardholders in good standing who are 18 years and older and have signed the "Museum Pass User Agreement." A new agreement form must be signed each time a museum pass is checked out or reserved.

  • Family passes admit 2 adults and either 2 or 4 accompanying children, depending upon the museum.
  • Passes are subject to availability, and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. All reserves must be made in person at the reference desk.
  • Reservations will be taken up to one month in advance.
  • Only one pass may be borrowed per family, per month.
  • Borrowers must return a pass before borrowing another one.
  • The Library reserves the right to monitor usage to insure fair access to the greatest number of patrons.
  • Passes may be borrowed for up to 3 days.
  • The day the pass is picked up is considered day one. A pass borrowed on a Friday must be returned by 9 P.M. on Monday. A pass borrowed on Tuesday must be returned by 9 P.M. on Thursday. Return passes to reference.
  • Passes may not be returned in the book drop.
  • A fee of $10 per day will be charged for late returns.
  • In the event that a pass is not returned and the Library pays an entrance fee for the next user, that entrance fee will be added to the late fees.
  • Any borrower who loses a pass is responsible for the full replacement cost.
  • Borrowers are responsible for calling the museum directly to determine hours of operation, parking, or directions.
  • The Museum reserves the right to determine the rules and regulations governing the use of the museum pass. The pass may not provide admission to all exhibits.
